Choosing the right Treat:

Every dog acquires a different taste as per their blooming character from the puppy stage. Know which food your dog gets accustomed to. Knowing this would eventually lead to food-oriented training. Try out different brands in the market to figure out the best treat you dog responds to.
Trainer – Clicker

Clicker is one among many techniques used for training a dog along with the treat. For instance, every time the dog does a task completion, the use of the clicker with a keyword signifying the positive re-enforcement and ending up with him having his treat. This training method is also commonly known as positive re-enforcement.
Sharing is caring:

As much as the clicker technique works brilliantly, the end game is not to get your dog used to treats all the time. Eventually sharing your attention and care should be the goal. It should understand your share not the treat.
Walk-The-Talk:

The dogs are always supposed to walk beside you at your pace which puts you in control of your dogs. Sounds BAD? Let’s revisit!!! A dog leash that is not in control, is harming your dog, your safety as well as the safety of people around you. Using treats once they walk a certain distance beside you would put you and your dog out of harm’s way. Train in the right way.
Be-Calm:

Calm is the behaviour one should consider when giving treats. Even when your dog obeys every command but still in a hyper-active mood, WAIT! for it to calm down. We know he is eager for the treat but every time a treat is given in that state it would take it as a sign of reward enforcing itself with that behaviour.
Speak-Peek:

There are many commands out there used my many trainers around the world. The best way is figure out the words we use on a day-to-day conversation so that our dog doesn’t misread when it comes to communication. Yes! It is true that varying situations would actually lead to unpredictability. However, having trained using the “Right” commands would actually reduce the after effects.
