Bull Terriers

The “Bull Terrier” family known for its well-built, muscular and active characteristics. Although considered among the comical yet playful and mischievous at times, the breed is also known for qualities inclination to devotion and stubbornness.  The origins dates back to 19th century England.

Breeding isn’t something, one decides to see the chemical composition and alter it to have a better outcome. There isn’t a fixed formula for breeding.

The bulldog has a very strong build, wide frame, heavy boned while Terriers were agile and good trackers (killing vermin, fox hunting and so on). The classification back in the 18th century came to be known as half-breds, which gave the breeders best of both breeds. Hence the “Bull Terrier”. They were a cross between bulldog, white terrier and dalmatians.

Breed registered and recognised:

Recognised by AKC, CKC, FCI and the UKC, the distinctive features of a Bull Terrier are classified as Egg-Shaped heads, erect ears and small triangular eyes. On an average they range in height from 21 inches to 22 inches and weighs anywhere between 23 Kg to 27 Kg. However, among the breed classification we do have “Miniature bull terrier” which averages in height anywhere between 10 inches to 14 inches, and weighs around 11 Kg to 15 Kg.
